In September of 2021, Saint Luke Parish offered Faith Formation in a new way to all ages. This information dedicated time to developing and supporting a strong Domestic Church which remains important today. The term “Domestic Church” has been used throughout Christianity to refer to the family, the smallest body of gathered believers. A family unit can be any size, one or more, and includes all ages.
Please read through this new approach to faith formation which was geared towards supporting and building a foundation of faith for a life of encountering the Lord.
Look for the “Ritual of the Month” as you read each packet below. These rituals have included: the family meal in October, giving thanks in November, scripture in December, prayer in January and almsgiving in February. You can look forward to the March ritual of fasting, in April, love languages and affirmation, in May, service as praise and ending in June with evangelization. Enjoy the summer supplement for book and pilgrimage suggestions.
